Enclosures

The enclosure you put your 1-wire board into is a big part of your total system.

We believe strongly that all boards should be designed around a case or enclosure. While this may lead to slightly higher manufactureing cost due to extra mounting holes or slightly enlarged PCB boards, the problem of finding a case or enclosure that will fit is a serious problem. Therefore all Springbok Digitronics products were designed to fit in a standard case or enclosure.We have opted to try to standardize our boards so you don't end up with a dozen boards, all different sizes. The are designed to fit into many differnt cases or enclosures.

The enclosures listed here are units that incorporate very low cost, good quality and ease of use. While IP-64 rated enclosures are desireable, they tend to be very expensive. These alternative enclosures offer a good alternative for the money. They are easily adapted to hold our standard boards.

We will carry a limited number of these enclosures to ease the problem of finding proper cases. Cases are delivered from our sipplier and are shipped AS IS.

Designed for our A size boards (35.5mm x 47.5mm)

The product is manufactured by PAC TEC and is model CNS-0000.  This case is easily drilled or machined (a file works well) so indicator lights or ventilation holes can easily be added. Typically one end is cut out access to the dual RJ-45 jacks found in the LP-Series products.

Black Plastc Case for A Size PCB's

3"(L) x 2"(W) x 1"(H) - Fits A Size PCB's with extra room for greater air volume inside case than the CNS-0000.

These are black glossy finished project boxes molded from ABS plastic. Lids are also ABS and each unit is supplied with screws.

Easily milled or drilled. 

Units mounted in this case can be mounted in a Bell.5 enclosure for double enclosure protection if needed.

A low cost, minimum size case.

Black Plastc Case for D Size PCB's

4.3"(L) x 2.2"(W) x ..08(H) - Fits D and A Size PCB's

These are black glossy finished project boxes molded from ABS plastic. Lids are also ABS and each unit is supplied with screws for top.

Easily milled or drilled. D Size PCB's require notching (as marked on PCB silk-screen) for proper fit. Enclosure can  be fitted with up to two A size PCB"s instead (As used in LP-series units) if desired.

Units mounted in this case can be mounted in a Bell.5 enclosure for double protection if needed.

A low cost, minimum size case.
