Vue-Series boards are based on the D size PCB (100mm x 52.5mm). This size is designed to fit in the PB-2P. Two units can be fitted in a Bell.5 enclosure for post mounting. The PCBs have four #40 mounting holes so they are easily stacked if desired. All PCBs are double sided, with silk-screens and solder masks on both sides. All boards have Dual RJ-45 jacks wired to the 1WRJ45 standard. An additional DC power input jack (2.5mm center positive) is provided; making the boards easily powered either through the cable of locally. In addition a 2 pin male header provides yet another alternative method of powering these board. 1WRJ45 wiring options are easily configured by using solder paste jumper for maximum versatility in customized network wiring.

On board regulators convert the supplied +12VDC regulated power to +5 VDC using a LDO (low drop out regulators) for a steady, low noise, reliable local power source for the boards components which is available for powering external sensors through the 1WRJ45 +5V power line (50ma max).

All boards incorporate passive onboard low capacitance TVS and diode protection for the 1-wire data line. On board power and access LED indicators are used to indicate power and device selection. Boards use the standard device configuration of a DS2409 to select the board and its special components and a DS2433 EEPROM for tagging purposes.
